The concept is about taking inspiration from hunting-gathering society’s in order to function in today's world.  Kristen wanted to incorporate this way of thinking into her design.  To design something for the tech savvy globalized modern traveler by utilizing waste, not creating it.  The concept must fit into the luxury business model - not to down-cycle the material but to use the best materials available in order to create the greatest products imaginable.



Above is the creative process, inspiration, design and tests.  The final products were realized for Kristen's MA Thesis collection.
