The 2014/2015 Winter season moves from vintage to historical richness, drawing inspiration from Renaissance and Baroque time periods.  This can be seen in the prints as well as fashion details and trimmings. The bright color blocked prints of previous seasons are moving towards a patchwork style, combining multiple prints as well as textures. The Baroque style is updated with a more folkloric feel inspired by the Balkans of Eastern Europe. Tapestry prints are used as bib inserts in jackets as well as pants and bags. This season, fur represents timeless glamour. Fur linings are seen in bright, bold colors as well as in accessories such as bags, bracelets and heels. A sensuous fur scarf is a key accessory this season to add color.

This season there are six main colors that also reflect saleable themes. Royal Romance is a dark purple that signifies royalty and is used in many renaissance style floral and tapestry prints. An update to the natural feeling of fur is the rust color, Rustic Lux. Deep Baroque is a rich red used in the mixing of graphic prints or patchwork style jackets. Tailored looks as well as more modern camouflage prints can be seen in the grey color, Bespoke Grey. Jeweled Glamour, a teal color much like the purples and reds, represent the classic-go-to jewel colors often seen during the Baroque period. Lioness is an update to the camel color with more golden undertones- animal prints are again popular this season in combination with suiting prints and delicate details such as lace and embroidery.

These rich colors are complimented by five accent colors to add a feeling of mature playfulness. The accent colors include Cobblestone, a tan or nude color, as well as Green Gables, a more subdued green than previous army greens. Bright Envy, Fire Opal and Dusty Rose serve as an update to previous pastel accents. The lime, orange and pink add a hint of fun without overpowering the main colors.
