Cambridge Sustainability Residency

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This short residency opportunity targets artists working in fine arts or visual arts and are interested by the field of sustainability. It will take place within Anglia Ruskin University (Cambridge, UK), both in the School of Art and in the Global Sustainability Institute during a week 22-28 April 2013. The residency will culminate with an exhibition on 13-19 May, coinciding with the 1st Research Conference of the Global Sustainability Institute, Anglia Ruskin University.

 

The selected candidates will have access to:

  • work alongside scholars both from the field of fine arts and sustainability

  • one-to-one mentoring with specialists from Cambridge School of Art and Global Sustainability Institute

  • group crits

  • research material

  • desk space at the Global Sustainability Institute

  • internet access, 

  • tutorial and coaching hours 

  • some access to 3D workshops, editing suites, etc.

  • exhibition space

  • cost of utility bills, invigilating, advertising, etc.

  • opportunity to engage with GSI 1st Research Conference participants
